Hi.
My father has lots of super 8 (shot on kodachrome 40 film originally) movies of the family when we were kids and even before lying around the house. I was wondering if it was possible to get these transfered to digital video at all? I know it can be done to VHS we had that done previously but I'm firmly againtst analogue video (not film!!) so I want to know if it could be transfered to digital video and put on cd. Also what kind of digital format can it be done to? I do not really want to spend money getting it done and ending up with MPEG1 encoded film. DVD or MPEG4 would be ideal. Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Cathal.

Hi, Cathal!
You might be interested in the equipment we offer. Please see:

These units are quite easy to use and are economical if you have a lot of film to transfer to digital. Most importantly, they offer outstanding results from both super 8 and regular 8mm film.
Good luck!
